CEBU, Philippines — The second edition of the ‘Run for Gift of Life’ is set on May 13 at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu grounds.
Organized by the Rotary Club of Cebu (RCC), the charity race features four categories, the 1-kilometer family run, 3K, 8K, and 16K.
RCC’s Gift of Life Program, which started in 2007, has given more than 40 indigent children with congenital heart defects (CHD) renewed hope in life. This year, RCC targets 60 more children to receive this gift of life.
Proceeds of the race will go to Gift of Life Program and for the operation of children with CHD.
Registration fee is pegged at P350 for the 1K, P400 for 3K, P450 for 8K, and P650 for 16K. The first 2,000 registrants will get a singlet, race bib, refreshments and loot bag. The 8K and 16K finishers will also receive medals.
