Every day we constantly move around places, whether you’re going to school or to work, going for a night out or a simple dinner date, we always have to bring several essentials along just in case things change right before you know it. Here are 10 essentials you need to bring with you:

  1. Tissue, wet or dry or even both

Having this essential in your bag is very much a blessing to you or to anyone else who may need it especially for emergency purposes. A few drops of spilled coffee or splashed dirty water on your work shoes can be wiped and cleaned easily with wet wipes. Dry tissue can come in handy for any reason you choose to use it for.

2. Compact mirror

Regardless of gender, one important thing we all share is grooming. Looking presentable in front of your boss, parents, crush or teacher would always leave a mark to the person you’ll meet with and surely, we wouldn’t want to leave negative impressions behind. Having a compact mirror would be your honest friend that would always show you how you currently look.

3. Dental Floss

Yes, dental floss. Aside from making yourself look presentable at all times, we always polish our looks with a smile. But right after having your lunch break or a quick munch of your snacks, always have a quick check if you have food left in between your teeth. You wouldn’t want to embarrass yourself in front of people, wouldn’t you?

4. Comb

Bringing along with you a handy comb is essential especially when your day turn out to be an unexpected one. You surely wouldn’t want to walk around with a messy or tangled up hair. By the time you end your day from work or school, you’ll still be looking fresh and clean with the comb that you fixed your hair with.

5. Breath mints

Throughout our day, we are constantly on the move. From the very time you wake up and the minute before you put yourself to sleep. Sometimes your mind keeps running with thoughts and tasks, you tend to leave out the important detail to get you confidently ready for the day. With the limited time you have, secure yourself with a pack of breath mints that could save not just your day but also the relationship you are yet to develop.

6. Power bank

This is the 21st century and technology runs almost everywhere and anywhere. Where our community depends on it and in times of emergency, having backup power where there is no available outlet would be the best solution. Power banks, nowadays, are considered as part of the community’s essentials. If you have presentations and important documents to submit, always have a handy power bank because you’ll never know when its power will die out.

7. Umbrella

Rain or shine, it’s best to keep yourself safe from sickness or from the harmful rays of the sun. The weather can really be unpredictable despite the weather forecast but what’s more unpredictable are the effects it can bring to your body.

8. Ballpen and paper

Wherever you may go it is always best to be ready for some scribble. May it be writing down important details for certain matters or jotting down key points that can help you with work or school. Why secure pen and paper when I have my gadget? Well, it’s not all the time we have to depend on our gadgets. Yes, you may use your gadget but having to write down vital information on a piece of paper or in your contacts book will give you another way of securing that information in case something goes wrong with your gadget.

9. Ethyl Alcohol/Hand Sanitizer

Another alternative for having wet and dry tissue is ethyl alcohol. If you find the wet or dry tissue too bulky in your bag, having a handy ethyl alcohol or hand sanitizer would do the trick to keep you clean and give your bag extra space but if you prefer having all three, the more to keep you clean and germ-free.

10. Spare Change

In a fast-paced community, every transaction is fast paced too. Credit cards, debit cards and all other forms of transactions are the highlighted ways to better purchase goods but not all stores or stalls accept cards or electronic transactions. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Getting through each day without expecting unexpected emergencies, these 10 essentials can help you finish your day with ease. Keep your bag packed with these essentials and you’ll be confidently weaving your day.
